Pala: The Christmas Raavu 2025 Carol Competition and Santa Claus Competition were successfully organized jointly by BVM Holy Cross College Cherpunkal and BM TV. The grand celebration was held on December 4, 2025, at the RV Park Open Stage in Pala, attracting a large audience and creating a vibrant Christmas atmosphere filled with music, entertainment, and festive spirit.
The event featured exciting performances from various participating teams, making the evening colorful and memorable. A total of six teams participated in the carol competition, showcasing their talent, creativity, and Christmas spirit through beautiful musical performances.
In the competition, the team from Malayattoor won the first prize and received a cash award of ₹10,000. The second prize, along with a cash award of ₹7,500, was secured by the team from Teekoy, while the team from Ramapuram won the third prize and received ₹5,000. Apart from the main prizes, encouragement prizes and certificates were distributed to all participating contestants in recognition of their enthusiastic participation and performance.
The program was attended by several distinguished guests and dignitaries. Social activist Nisha Jose K Mani delivered an inspiring message during the event. Thomas Peter, Chairman of Pala Municipality, also addressed the gathering and appreciated the organizers for conducting such a meaningful community celebration.
Speeches were also delivered by Fr. Dr. Baby Sebastian Thonikuzhy, Principal of BVM Holy Cross College Cherpunkal, and Fr. Dr. George Ambazhathinkal. They congratulated the participants and highlighted the importance of unity, peace, and cultural celebrations during the Christmas season.
Prince Babu, Chairman of Bright Media Communications Pvt. Ltd. and Chief Editor of BM TV News, also spoke at the function and expressed gratitude to all participants, organizers, sponsors, and audience members who contributed to the success of the event.
