How it all started
The journey began in 2019 in Pala, Kottayam, when Prince Babu founded BMTV as a local media studio and online news platform. With a vision to expand and build a stronger media presence, the studio was officially incorporated on 23 March 2022 as Bright Media Communications Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Pala. Amala Kottuparampil, Jismon Joseph, and Dinu Manoj joined as partners, and the company grew into a full-service digital media and online services provider offering news, web design, and creative media solutions.
Our story
The journey of Bright Media began long before its official incorporation. In March 2009, the company’s Founder & Chairman, Prince Babu, entered the media industry as a news cameraman and editor at SGC TV, a community telecasting center at St. George’s College, Aruvithura. Driven by passion and self-learning, he launched his own online news portal, Teekoy News, in 2010 by building a Blogger website independently.
By 2011, the platform expanded to Orkut, Facebook, and YouTube, marking the beginning of a strong digital presence. Alongside news reporting, he actively worked on website development and provided video and photo coverage for public events and weddings, steadily building experience and credibility in the media field.
In October 2019, operations officially expanded in Pala under the name BMTV, which grew into a widely recognized online news and media platform with over one million followers and millions of viewers across various digital platforms.
On 23 March 2022, the organization was formally incorporated as Bright Media Communications Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Pala. Amala Kotuparampil, Jismon Joseph, and Dinu Manoj joined as partners, strengthening the company’s leadership and growth. Today, Bright Media operates as a full-service digital media company offering online news broadcasting, web design, studio production, and a wide range of creative and digital services.

Bright Media Studio aims to be fully equipped to produce high-quality corporate commercials, interviews, documentaries, and promotional content for organizations, institutions, and businesses. With advanced studio infrastructure and a skilled creative team, we plan to deliver large-scale productions that meet professional standards.
We envision transforming BMTV into one of the most trusted 24×7 Malayalam news channels, ensuring that people receive accurate and timely information. Our mission is to present the truth responsibly and make reliable news accessible to the public without delay.
BMSC Institute will focus on providing practical vocational education within a short duration, equipping students with real-world media and communication skills. By utilizing the existing systems and production capabilities of BMTV, the institute will offer hands-on, industry-oriented training.
Recognizing the growing potential of e-commerce and digital marketplaces, EMI Universe will expand as a multi-category online platform offering products and services across various sectors. The platform aims to create new business opportunities and strengthen digital commerce presence in Kerala.
With over fifteen years of internet experience, Bright Media is committed to excelling in web design and digital marketing, helping organizations leverage online platforms for business growth and brand expansion.
In addition, the company plans to establish a dedicated retail division offering accessories and related products for digital devices such as cameras, computers, and mobile phones.
